The GHZ can range from 1.4 to even 3.8 I don't like how it throttles and I am wondering if I can change it. I believe while I am gaming it is fine but I am not sure because it might be even better when not throttling. Plz Help :D

I also own a 500W power supply from EVGA and an MSI 970A-G43Plus Motherboard with 16gb of ddr3 1600 ram.

Any help is appreciated :D

You have your frequency settings in Bios on auto in "AI Overclock Tuner" and also with "AMD Turbo Core Technology" also set to Auto. It will throttle using those settings and you need to have a fixed frequency if you do not want that to happen.
Enter Bios and disable Turbo Core Technology and in AI Overclock Tuner change to manual and set your CPU core ratio.
Set it to 19 for 3.8GHz or increase it for a higher frequency if you want to OC.
If you do OC make sure to set core Voltage to suit. If not sure about your Bios and Overclocking then do a little research and were here to help should you have issues.
