New build with ASrock Z170 Pro4S. Full build here. (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YWgcBP)

USB Keyboard and USB mouse work fine in setting up BIOS, but when I'm trying to load windows, I get to the pick your language screen and the keyboard doesn't work. I've tried 2 different keyboards and multiple USB ports, shutting down between moving the ports, no luck.

Oh, when I'm at the windows language choice screen, the keyboard has power.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Az

It's a feature! Turns out the new ASrock MOBOs don't support for EHCI, so the USB ports don't work in windows setup.

Here's what ASRock says. "Intel® N3000 Series SoC and 100 Series has removed their support for the Enhanced Host Controller Interface, so you might find it difficult to install your Windows 7 operating system since the USB ports won't work."

They have a website to show you how. It was easy. http://www.asrock.com/microsite/win7install/
