I recently blew my motherboard on a Windows 7 desktop. This computer had two hard drives (500 GB each) functioning as one (I guess, I never saw two drives listed).
I pulled them out and I want to transfer data from these hard drives to my new computer using a hard drive converter (Amazon).However when I hook one up I don't see any nothing, my computer does read it at all. When I hook up the second one, it shows as drive F, however it will only allow me to format the drive, nothing else. OF course I don't want to do this.
I'm quite the hardware so novice, so any feedback should be light on techie speak.
