Help please! My Graphics card is spinning but it is not detected by my computer!

I built my new system then when I was finishing up and I found out that my monitor couldn't detect my computer. I took out the Graphics Card and I found out that the computer was working. But, when I put the Graphics Card back in the slots, the monitor still said there was no signal. This is my first time building a computer so please help me, My build is here:

You plug the power connector in to the videocard? You plug the monitor cable to the videocard and not the motherboard?

with onboard video make sure the bios is up to date. on the mb there 8 pin power plug make sure you used ther cpu power cablesd not the gpu power cables to fill it.

If you have an Intel CPU, make sure that the on-board graphics is disabled. You can do this by going into the BIOS.
