I've had this computer for 1 year no problems perfectly fine. Now when I try to turn it on it won't start and I thought it was the power supply, Nope tested it out working perfectly fine. So then I thought the power button and I was kind've right because the power button itself is perfectly fine. Either the cable that connects to the motherboard or the motherboard connector doesn't work. BTW, the connector wire to the motherboard is an all in one, it's not separated in to different wires it's just all in one, the LED, reset, the power. Do I have to get a new pc? Or Do I have to get a new wire??

Other things to consider: 30mins before this problem happened the pump to cool the pc started making a weird noise, then the fan too cool the water got insanely loud, and I read somewhere that if the processor detects that the cooler isn't working right it won't turn on. Could this be a problem?
After all of this (btw dad's computer) my dad said he wanted to transfer his files out of the HDD just incase. While we were trying to transfer the files over we learned the HDD was bad/corrupted, but we fixed it through my computer and is fine now. Could this be the problem. I've tried to do the trick and take a small metal object and tough it to the 2 pins that turn on the power, but it won't work.

Please help quickly this computer is worth $1000 and was bought in 2015 fall.

Thanks

Solution
Start switch pins are in the Front panel connector, two pins mostly marked as Start or with red mark. Connect them as long as you would hold Start button. (maybe a second).
Paper clip test on 24 pin just starts up PSU, not motherboard, computer will not run while those wires are connected.
CPU_Fan should be clearly marked as such and should be used only for fans, plug the pump elsewhere, either pump s connector (if MB has it), CHA_Fan, AUX_fan (if MB has it) or by an adapter to a Molex (for disks).

Okay by short them you mean touch them the 2 pins with a metal object? If so I have already done this and i've tried with different pins too. And incase if you're wondering the whole computer runs because I did the trick with the paper clip and the 24 pin connector. Could you tell me what it's suppose to be called, you know on a motherboard where the cpu fan is suppose to be it has like cpu fan 1, what would the start button connector be called just incase I have it plugged into the wrong socket.
BTW somewhere If the fans for the CPU aren't working correctly the pc won't turn on. Just before the power button problem happened the pump for the pc made this weird noise then the pump fan got super loud like insanely loud.
Thanks
