Hey, I was just wondering if these parts are all compatible, and whether or not they are a good match. I do not know much about motherboards and CPU's, and wanted to make sure they were fully compatible for overclocking etc.. Also, any other issues that you see, please tell me. This is my first from scratch build, and I need some advice.

FYI I already have Windows, and peripherals.

Thank you

To answer your question, YES they are all compatible and YES they are a good match. But, as what has been said by smorizio a new line of AMD Ryzen chips will come out with all features like the Intel has to offer. The downside to this is that we do not know what is the price as of this writing (Which by guessing is not cheap at first release). If you are willing to wait on the new chips then I highly suggest you do, but if you pretty much need it now then i suggest going with the build.

You need a aftermarket cpu cooler to support overclocking, try to go with a intel cpu and board. Amd will be releasing a new cpu soon so if you want to stick with them then go that way.

Ok thank you, I'll be waiting for the new Ryzen line. As for CPU coolers, what would you recommend? I've been thinking about a water cooler, but I know practically nothing about them.
