Im having an odd problem with my GPU/PC
Im running a Sabertooth x-79 i7 3930K (2011), 32GB DDR3 (8 x 4GB), GTX1080 Turbo (Asus), Win 10.
When i boot, go into windows and i have ASUS GPU Tweak running on startup with a preset active, my pc has a lot of display troubles.
For example: when you press the up arrow in the bottom left that expands the desktop tray icons it wont show any icons there, but you can click on them.
Also, say you go into recycle bin and hit empty recycle in, the window that appears to confirm your selection is blank, although you can still press the yes, or no buttons (if you know where to press).
Sometimes all the desktop icons will dissappear, until i hit the win key.
When i disable the gpu tweak and boot i dont have any issues, but when i open gpu tweak and set my profile, sometimes it will start having said issues, or it will work fine.
First thing i did was update my gpu drivers (or check that mine were the latest).
I also checked for any windows 10 updates.
Also, because i realised that i hadnt updated any drivers for chipset, sata, usb etc since before upgrading to win 10, i went and found any necessary drivers and updated them too. Now things work crazy well, but the display problem still persists...
If anyone has had a similar experience and or found the cause or a solution i would love to hear from you!
