Will my system (2*4 ddr3) work if I'll just add more ram (2*4 gb ddr3) from a different brand ? All at 1600mh clock speed.

I wanna upgrade my sram by adding 2*4 to my 2*4 1600 mh ram , will it work ?

My rig:
Gigabyte z170 motherboard
Gtx 750 from a random brand
i7 4770 (non k version, overclocked form 3,4 gh to 3.8 gh)
I am not sure about the brand of my ram but it is 2*4 gb clocked at 1600 mh.
128 gb ssd
2 tb hdd

Also I wanna upgrade my gpu to gtx 1060 6g from gigabyte, will it work to ?

Solution
Yes they would definitely work. Just make sure to check the speed and timings in the bios to avoid issues.
your board will definitely handle a new 1060.

Above mentioned is not true, there is no guarantee they will work together. For that, you need to get quad module kits.

To get a decent chance you need to find matching kit, which means voltages and timings need to be same. If they don't, you'll have to pull down to the worse values and/or lower operating frequency.

If you can, look for modules from same manufacturer/line, ideally same part number, there your chances are better.

Manufacturer, part number and main timing values you can find easily with cpu-z tool on SPD tab.

Other than that, it's a lottery, with decent chance for success.
