Upgrading my PC (though it is more starting to look like a completely new build) as it is having issues running most of the latest games. Used pcpartspicker and some other places to pick out some parts but would like someone else to take a look so I don't mess anything up.

Tell me if there are some changes you think i should make but i won't be able to go up much in cost. The case is what I am reusing from my old PC as well as the PSU but I am suspecting it will provide to little wattage and be to weak.

Case: NZXT Tempest 210 ATX Mid Tower Case

Motherboard: Asus Z170-A ATX LGA1151

CPU: Intel core i5-6500

CPU Cooler: Stock cooler packaged with CPU

RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 3200MHz

GPU: MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X 6GB

PSU: SFC SF-500p12p

Will also be using a disk drive, an SSD and an HDD.
Not going to try overclock anything except RAM.
First time building a PC so any help will be appreciated.

never heard of the brand to be honest, never seen a review on it, hard to past a judgement on it, besides spotting it is being sold and categorizes as a Non 80+ Series PSU on the web site. so I will say, probably low end device. consider upgrading in the near future. is it powerful enough to run your rig, sure.

the rest of your build looks solid.

The PSU has been running my current PC (Quite a bit outdated; Intel Pentium G860, 4GB DDR3-666MHz RAM, Nvidia GeForce GT640) fine for the past 4 years but I figured it would need an upgrade. Thanks for the quick answer!
