Solution
I've made a few improvements:

i. Now you have 16 GB of RAM, really needed as games have started to use more than 8 gigs.
ii. Bigger and faster SSD from Samsung: 250 gigs
iii. Now you have RX 480 8 gigs, I got it for the Vram and price, performance is really similar to 1060 and 8 gb is more futureproof.
iv. Better and cheaper CPU cooler

You'll have to pay a bit more so sorry about that.

Solution
For video editing you will see a good bennifet out of additonal cores. If you do a alot of video edtiting you should either get an i7 or a xeon
Good cooler
3200mhz ram is not going to much of any difference over 2400. Much better to put the $10-15 into the CPU.
This is a cheap SSD for a reason, should at minimum get a Samsung 750 evo or Crucial BX SSD
DIY is a cheap quality to look "gaming" case kind of brand, its like a $20k car with body kit to look like a $100k car. Look into Rosewill Tyrang, Rosewill Challenger, Corsair SPEC, Corsair Carbide 100, NZXT 220, etc for better quality and actuall gaming features (vs just looking like it).

For gaming and editing I'd definitely get 16GB of RAM instead of 8GB; there are some games (very few) that go over 8GB, especially unoptimized ones. i7 7700K would be better for some editing workloads, but probably not worth the extra cost. GTX 1060 is a great 1080p card, I've got one paired with a 3930K and get good performance @1080p:

I've had much better luck with EVGA PSUs than Corsair PSUs (2/3 Corsair bad, 1/5 EVGA bad) and EVGA customer support is awesome. Also that PSU is pretty good: http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&op=Story6&reid=440

If you want to do some decent overclocking I'd recommend something like the Corsair H100i GTX or NZXT Kraken X61.

Good suggestions except for the GPU.
Since the OP is also doing editing he will see large gains from using an NVIDIA gpu over an AMD one as most all video editing software will utilize the CUDA cores of NVIDIA gpus and thus have noticably faster rendering times.
