I am looking for a Great graphics card to use with an Alienware Graphics Amplifier - with use a Alienware 17 R3

I have an Alienware 17R3 laptop. They have a sweet hook up on the back for use with a seperate item called the Alienware Graphics Amplifier, what would be an ideal graphics card to put in one of these things to future proof my laptop as much as humanly possible? I am trying to have this thing setup to last as long as I can use it so I can retire it for use as a desktop later.

If you have money you can go for the Titan X Pascal Its the most insane graphics card atm... Its quite epxneisve but its the Very best card for now on and probably will stay as number 1 card for all the 2017 and part of 2018.
If you have some money but not thaaat much for a titan you can go for the GTX 1080 wich is the 2nd best card in the market ATM or the 1070 that places third...
