I am planning to upgrade my pc but I am debating whether or not I should get the i5 6600k or the i7 6700k. I don't know which one to buy. Also I was thinking on getting the EVGA Z170 FTW. Is this a good option? I'm also using a EVGA 600w Bronze PSU, is this enough to power these cpus and my EVGA GTX 960 SSC 4gb GPU? Thanks!

In A Nutshell:
CPU: i5 6600k or i7 6700k
GPU EVGA GTX 960 Super Super-Clocked (4gb)
Motherboard: EVGA Z170 FTW
PSU: EVGA 600w Bronze
CPU Fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
RAM: Ripjaw V DDR4 3200mhz 16gb

Solution
For the i5-6600K or i7-6700K pretty much any Z170 board would be fine.

I'd also suggest looking at i5-7600K or i5-7700K along with a Z270 board.

For the 4790K you'd want a Z97 motherboard.

I mainly use it for gaming but i do render 1080p 60fps 20,000,000 bitrate videos in Sony Vegas

Another option worth considering is the I7 4790k, oddly enough it has significantly better single core performance than either of the newer processors you listed, and may be found on the cheap on ebay if you wait for the right auction or sale (or around the same price of a 6700k new). Otherwise, if strictly between the listed I5 and I7, I guess the i5 6600k if its strictly for gaming. However, if you can wait until AMD Ryzen's release, that'd likely be your best bet, regardless whether you chose to consider purchasing Ryzen or not.

What would be an example of the fps differences in a game between the i7 4790k, i7 6700k, and the i5 6600k?

You can choose between cpu, gpu, and cpu & gpu at the same time.

I doubt it would be noticeable because the 960 is going to be the bottleneck in almost every case. What games are you most concerned about?

What part of my EVGA GTX 960 Super SuperClocked (4gb) would be bottlenecked? Im planning on playing really demanding games like Arma 3, DayZ and Battlefield 1.
