What to change cpu vs graphics card?

Hello I just want to get higher fps in a game called Dota 2/ or in games in general, what should i change in order to get higher fps?

Specs:
i3 2130
8 gb ram
1 tb hdd sata3
Geforce gtx 750 ti
motherboard intel DH67CL

Your current rig should run dota 2 just fine. However upgrading the GPU won't allow you to go that far is it would bottleneck depending on which you upgrade to.

Its going to be an all or nothing upgrade.

You could upgrade to a 1050/1050 ti but that is not that much improvement for the money.
Anything beyond that will be greatly limited by yoru CPU.

If you cant find a cheap i5 2XXX or 3XXX (may require BIOS update for 3XXX) then you should just save money for full upgrade of CPU/MoBo/Ram

So you're suggesting keeping the same graphics card and changing everything else? would it give me stable 100+fps in dota2? Thanks!

Sorry my last part of that post was confusing.

No you will need to upgade GPU as well.

I was just stating that if you cant get a used i5 for a good price you will need to upgrade CPU/Mobo/Memory in order to ugprade to modern hardware, and still also need the GPU.

It runs dota fine, but i went to get 100+ fps stable even in fights, at the moment i get less than 60 fps in fights and it's unplayable for me when its less than 60 :/
