Hİ guys! I'm planning to buy an AMD FX X8 9590 Socket AM3+ 4.7GHz 16MB and a MSI RX480 8GB GDDR5 256Bit AMD for my ASUS M5A97.I'm not very experienced with pc building, therefore i want to know if i face any problems with these or not.I'm buying them for pc gaming.I'd appreciate if you guys can suggest more options for CPU and GPU.Thank you!

The 9590 is a 220W chip. Your motherboard not only can't handle the power distribution - but may even refuse to boot at all with that chip installed.

It is not listed as compatible.

Thank you, then what motherboard would you recommend for i5 6500 and RX480 ?

Uhm, for me? I'd get an ASROCK that i could back flash the UEFI to a BCLK enabled revision so I could bump up the base clock on the 6500.

If that sounds like too much work for an OC then, if i was forced to get a locked 6500 - i'd just put it in an H170 that was cheap.
