Solution
On a Server/Workstation 940-pin processor that pin would be assigned to the HyperTransport Interface (i.e. L1_CADOUT_H[0]).

On a Desktop 939-pin processor, like the one you have, that broken pin is assigned as No connect (NC_*).

Straighten out the bent pins and test it.


CPU looks toast to me as there are other bent pins. You could try bending them back with a mechanical pencil and finding a replacement pin into the socket to bridge the broken one but that's a shot in the dark.
