Hello,

i have just put a new GPU in my PC (MSI GTX 1070) i had GTX 650 in it before. i am running all my game in ultra 1080p but it looks like 720p and grainy. my monitor is a 1080p monitor. i removed all old drivers of the GTX 650 an put new up to date drivers for the GTX 1070. i have gone in to nvidia control panel and have messed about for hours with no luck. when i Chang it to 1080p in game and on CP it has no difference in pitcher and the same when i go to 720p. i have tried 4 diffrent tv and monitors and many difrant DP, HDMI, VGA, DVI ports and i am having no luck at all.

PC

CPU intel i5 6600k
MOTHERBOARD msi GAMING M7 Z170
RAM corsair vengeance 2133mhz
GPU msi GTX 1070 gaming X

monitor samsung s24f350

It's not as bad as I expected from your description. More like bad rendering, poor A-A, DoF, etc. Does your old card look good? If so, I think I'd be either returning the card while I still can... or (if not) getting an RMA going with the manufacturer.

Also when I'm in game only about 3m around my character will be in ultra the rest will be very blury and faded out. I also get like weird video tape line that move up and down the screan.

Can you post a screen shot of the experience you are having? It sounds like you may have a defective card.

You could try a thorough un-install of the gfx drivers from safe mode with DDU: http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/display_driver_uninstaller.html
Uninstall any old AMD drivers you may have had installed in the past while you're there too. Then shut down, re-seat the card, reboot, and install the latest Nvidia driver for your card and OS. For now, leave out the GeForce experience pkg. and the 3D drivers. Just install the gfx driver, audio if needed, and PhysX.
