I've been having a problem lately that involves my computer freezing. I've checked multiple posts to see if my computer relates to any of the problems but I think mine is unique.

The problem is that at random my computer screen freezes and if any sound is being played it begins to loop (it makes a buzzing noise). I can't move my mouse at all and my screen is just a snapshot of what I had on the screen of the time. The only way to get out of this situation is by holding down the power button until I force shut it off.

I've upgraded my BIOS, replaced by hard drive, re-installed Windows 10 but nothing seems to work. If anybody could help me it would be appreciated.

Sorry for the delayed response here, thanks for posting that much, but I was actually expecting a little more detail on your graphics card, as in the specific model you have. It could very likely be a problem there as some cards have been known to have issues similar to this common in a product family. It could also be driver related for your card, I know that if you have a 7700 series card you just missed the cut off for driver support as they cut all non GCN based cards early last year. As they have said though, they are putting their main focus into the newer cards, it could possibly be a bug that your specific card doesn't like about w10, or etc.

It's actually quite random. The first time it happened I was gaming and I thought that was the issue. The second time I was watching a youtube video. Sometimes it happens when I'm just at the windows home screen and loading nothing. It happens randomly.
I did more searching, however, and might have found a fix. My computer seems to be running fine but I'll post again if the fix didn't work.

Well, the fix may have worked for a bit but my computer ended up crashing again. Did you say you knew what the problem was or how to fix it?
