Cpu:AMD FX-8350
And gtx 1060 6GB MSI

I currently have 1 2560x1440 monitor and am planning to get 2 24 inch 1080 monitors.
I want to use it for gaming, id like to play on high settings (ultra not a must) and above 30 fps.
I have seen other threads asking and the answer is always: "no get a gtx 1070 or 1080" but on youtube i found video's of the gtx 1060 6gb with 3 monitors running around 50 fps, i dont know how reliable it is but the link to one is down below and the channel has 3.4 thousand subs so I think he isnt lying. Sorry for this thread but im confused and i dont want to waste money.
(Getting a 1070 would be okay but as long as the 1060 can stay above 30 (average) on battlefield 1 im satisfied)
Sorry for bad english.

Couple things.
I don't see how you're going to do a surround set up using mismatched resolutions. They really need to be identical sets.

2560x1440 is already more demanding than 5760x1080.
5760x1080 doesn't so much increase rendering loads, but is more of a FOV alteration.

If you can play it at 1080p to your satisfaction, you should be able to play it at 5760x1080 with very little impact in performance.

Okay thank you, i wasnt aware that you MUST have identical sets. I cant afford 2 more widescreens and I also dont have enough space. So ill have to figure something out.

Sorry, but that's just wrong. First of all, 5760 x 1080 is about 30% more demanding. and unless all you do is stretch it, it is not just fov. It is more demanding. With Nvidia Surround, you have to have the same resolution. I don't know if you can scale the 1440p down to 1080. Alternatively, you could get three widescreens at 1080p and run the 1440p on top and jsut use 4 monitors.

It is still as demanding as 3 1080p monitors, because that is what it is. What do you mean by it's less than 1440p demands? More pixels are more pixels, and 5760 x 1080 is about 6200000 pixels, whereas 1440p is about 3700000. So triple 1080 is harder to run than single 1440p.

Again, that isn't how it works.
Have you ever used eyefinity or surround? I have a triple monitor setup. It's not triple demand. Let me explain.

Think about it really now. If you're playing a FPS and have a character in front of you... Does it change size or increase in clarity when you add surround? No. The only thing that happens is you gain a wider field of view - You get peripheral vision. The rendering of the field is already done.

Now you can do the same exact thing by manually setting your FOV extremely high - but without triple monitors it's going to appear very squished and skinny - but you'll be able to see the same thing an ultra wide sees!

This will increase load - but only a little bit.

It IS stretched. Sure, there are a very Very select few games that can utilize the resolution fully. The only one I'm aware of is Eve Online.

But again let's consider this. Is the ship you're flying any finer? No. You only gain extra wide. Can you see more enemy ships on the screen? Yes. But does that increase load? The answer is - only marginally. You see in most cases the graphics card renders scenes - not views. Moving the camera around doesn't impact lag much at all - the stuff is already there.

I'm sorry but your idea of what triple monitors are and how they work is flawed.

I hope my explanation clears it up.
