Hello, I am fairly new to tom's hardware. I apologize in advance for my english and if this has been asked before but i couldn't find the same problem so here goes:
Over the last 6 months i've been losing frames in few games, i re installed windows and also upgraded my GPU in that time period with no success. It happens in Warframe, Overwatch and just today started in Killing Floor2. I used to be able to play all 3 of those before with smooth frames. I noticed it happens when theres alot going on (for example in Warframe when you get a huuge wave of enemies) but im not sure why since few months back it wasnt a problem at all. Changing graphic settings didnt do anything. I don't really know much about pc's but i do suspect my CPU being the culprit, I just don't get why was i able to play it then and now cant, like i said it started happening in KF2 today! Up until yesterday everything was fine. Im on a wired internet connection and i doubt that would be the problem.
Specs:
AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 965
GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
8GB RAM
sabertooth 990fx r2.0
