Computer shutting down doing nothing but not doing something... PSU?

So my Computer shuts down occasionally/randomly, pretty much when it's doing nothing.

While I know this typically points to a problem with the PSU, I can use it for hours on end with high power gaming (running 980Ti, 32GB, 3440x1440 res) and it never shuts down...

Seems to happen just sitting doing nothing, or I'll leave it on, head out to work and when I come back it has shut down at one point. PSU is an evga G2 850W

Note this is not system power options, I have all that disabled, and windows logs show previous shutdown was unexpected.

Any thoughts?

If you mean a spare then no... :(

I have other PCs but would have to disassemble, and wait to see what happens.... I don't think (or can't remember) that I've ever seen it power off, normally I just find it off when I come back from work, or wake up, etc. but not all the time either, that's what puzzles me...

could set it up to do something intensive while you're not at the system, Folding at Home or SETI or something like that. Might keep it from shutting down.... course it will suck way more power that way.
