So I building a new PC and I bought a new SSD but Im reusing an old HDD from my old PC.
Im gonna boot up the PC and install windows and all the drivers on the SSD. Will I need to uninstall windows 10/all the drivers on my HDD before I put it in

Solution
As long as your BIOS knows to boot from your SSD and not from your HDD, you'll be just fine. Once you get into your SSD boot, you can format your HDD and wipe the slate clean. This does mean that anything you want to keep from your HDD you will need to move to your SSD before formatting.

You need to copy any personal files from the HDD, then wipe it completely.
Removing 'just windows' is not enough.

When installing Windows on the new SSD, make sure the HDD is not connected to the system. You can unplug the SATA cable. This will prevent boot records from getting installed on the old HDD. Then, as mentioned above, save the files you need from your HDD to the SSD or an external drive and do a full format of the HDD. Any programs/apps on the HDD will need to be reinstalled onto the SSD. Either make a list of what you currently have installed (and will want to reinstall), or connect the HDD once Windows is on the SSD and browse the Program Files directory on the HDD to decide which apps/programs you will want to reinstall. Dragging them from the HDD to the SSD generally will not work.
