EVGA GTX 1070 FTW DT Crashing after overclock (already set to default)

Hi,

I tried to overclock my EVGA GTX 1070 FTW DT on EVGA Precision XOC software. I boosted voltage to 100% and tried do rise memory and core clocks. After crasing on Valley Benchmark, I set the configs back to default. Now I can't play BF1 or Titanfall, I see some artifacts and crash after a while.

I already used Display Driver Uninstaller and installed the drivers again, but I get the same issue.

Is there any possibility that I damaged the gpu?

Thanks

the DT model are regular FTW cards that failed some part of quality testing. so they were relabeled and price reduced as DT models.

it's possible you exposed whatever flaw that specific card had that caused it to not be sold as a full FTW card. i'd try dropping back the clocks some and seeing what happens. might end up returning it if it still crashes at any gaming load. have you tried some games that might be easier on the card to see what happens. more casual gaming?

if it still crashes while playing a more casual game that barely taxes the card, then i'd look to return it.

I'm having the same issue runing 200MHz lower than stock clock... Is there any possibility of being a driver issue? Maybe a corruption due to a bad overclock?

don't think so. i don't think the driver cares about clock rates. if you've already uninstalled and reinstalled them anyway, then it is likely not the problem.

always a good first step to redo the drivers but once done, you have to rule them out and move to other possible causes.

Putting your Voltage to 100% is not good if your system is not water-cooled. Chances are you put too much voltage into the card at once and fried it. How long did you run the Valley Benchmark. If the problem persists I would take it out of the system and check the contacts (be sure not to touch them) and the voltage regulator

System becomes stable again if I do a 90MHz memory underclock. Any idea about what is happening?
