Hello guys,
So I did a very stupid thing while working on a Toshiba laptop.
Basically, I opened the cover of the laptop and there is a power ribbon that connects the power button to the motherboard WHILE the computer was still on (I thought it was turned off!)
I accidentally placed the cover to the side without removing the ribbon and it detached from the motherboard.
I inspected the power ribbon and it looked fine with no damage but the computer does not turn on and has no charging light on even with the power cord connected.
Now, my question is, because of my stupidity, could my motherboard be permanently broken from the sudden loss of power?
