I had 8gb of hyperx-fury 1600mhz ram and decided to add another 8gb to double up but can i mix them? i have some Ballistix ram 2 x 4gb set of ddr3 1600mhz but the timings are different compared to the hyperx stick, will this cause problems? or will i be okay? Also if it will be okay which slots should i stick the ram in?

Thanks for the reply i put them in anyway and it seems some things seem to be running slower , for example i stream using OBS and now for some reason it won't start up unless i end process and start it a 2nd time, then software/games etc seem to be running slow and laggy
Just wondering if it helps on what slots the ram goes into atm the 8gb chip is in slot 1 and the 2 x 4gb's are in slots 2 & 4, would it be better swapping them around ?
