Connecting wireless keyboard/mouse to laptop

So i have an ASUS ROG and I'm trying to connect my wireless keyboard and mouse to it. Any tips on how to do so? I don't have the Bluetooth adapter and was hoping it was possible without it since the laptop has an in built BT adapter.

More than likely you at least need the blue tooth driver that works with the supplied BT usb pen drive that you should have.

An you will need to check what the standard of the BT device is provided with the keyboard and mouse if as bought new in the retail box.

Both the key board and mouse should be shown in windows device manager as a usb composite device.
