There is nothing (terribly) wrong with 500watt for your PC.
The perfromance is not affected by PSU. Only stability and longevity are somehow related.
I'd recommend a good quality PSU of 550-650 watt for your system.
Corsair RM550/650x
EVGA SuperNova G2/G3/P2 550-650 watt
The above are great options.
there are other option, but I wouldn't consider AeroCool as "good enough" for any PC.
Especially for yours that has overclockable components.

I agree with n0n if you aren't having problems with your current power supply there is no reason to "upgrade" If you do need more power because you are adding a second GPU or plan on heavy overclocking then you may need to upgrade but a PSU is not a place to skimp. Spend more today on something that will last a long time rather than something cheap that will have to be replaced along with whatever components it kills when it goes.

I need to replace my psu. My question is what psu would be good that is not too expensive.. i dont want to overclock anything

GTX 780 is 250 watt part.
i7 is 100 watt (150 seriously overclocked and under synthetic load)
everything else (RAM, MB, Storage, Fans) under 100 watt
So we are talking about 450watt peak load which is not realistically achievable in normal usage.
Regarding PSU age, 2 years is nothing. Oldest PSU in my use is over 10 years old (Corsair HX520) that for ~7 years was in my main rig with about the same power usage as your system.
Quality PSUs come with 5-10 years warranty.
already suggested few excellent PSUs in first post.
to be more precise, I'll need a budget and country :)

P.S.
The noise is probably coming from the fan in the PSU. They are replaceable.
To say more about your PSU an exact model would be helpful. Some EVGA models are great PSUs .
