Hi all my friend really wants to play games such as dayz. Ark and miscreated. He has a pc thats a bit out of date so was wondering if he can upgrade anything to run these games rather than spending a fortune on a new rig. His specs are as follows:-
Cpu - intel i3 3240 @3.4Ghz
Mobo - dell inc. 0T4VP9
Ram - 4gb ddr3 @798 Mhz
Gpu - inspiron one (1920x1080@59hz)
Intel hd graphics (dell)
Ati Amd radeon hd 7600 a series
Storage - 1tb seagate

Thanks in advance guys!

Ugh, is this an All-in-One PC? There's a Dell with the same motherboard (https://us.hardware.info/product/181372/dell-inspiron-one-2330/specifications) that's an All-in-One.

If possible, you might be able to swap out the core i3 for a core i5 or i7. The problem is, I don't know how hard it is to swap out parts in an All-in-One.

Hi there,

Well the main thing is the graphics card. I assume this is a dell PC that was built for simple desktop stuff and not games, as such the graphics card is extremely basic. Look into buying something like a GTX1050 or 1050ti. That will let you run modern games - they won't look amazing, but if you turn the settings down you should get decent framerates with that i3 and a 1050.
