What is normal ram usage at idle - mid load and full load, especially at idle?

Hey guys,

I wanted to know whether 21% usage of 16GB ram is normal. I.e. 3.3 GB of Ram with skype and 5-6 browsers opened? and about 16% usage, i.e. 2.6 GB of RAM.

and 38% with CSGO and minecraft, and 1 tab.

If I have about 5 to 6 fans open with 2 games on, I am using about 43-44%. It also seems to allocate quite a bit of RAM to games when playing.

2GB to Minecraft, 1.5GB to CSGO, and 0.5Gb to Anti Virus. Is this normal?

How do I know whether it is using too much. I know I can go into Task manager, press and see how much RAM each uses, and shut it down, I am not doing that because I may shut down something essential to the system.

Seems perfectly normal.

Why are you concerned?

You can shut down tasks on task manager without worry. You can even go to processes and shut most of them down if you'd like.

There is absolutely ZERO point in this. About half the RAM a program uses is actually "shared" and can be used by another program if it needs it. Unless you're hitting 100% RAM - you have nothing to be worried about at all.
