Hi guys, I recently bought a RX 470 and it gives me the feeling that my CPU is making me bottleneck, so I think I should buy a new one. What CPU do you recommend to take advantage of the GPU? Should I change the motherboard as well?
Here are the system specs:
Motherboard: Asrock 970 Extreme4
CPU: AMD 4100 Black Edition
GPU: Asus Strix RX 470 4Gb
RAM: 8Gb

Solution
Well according to http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-ASRock/970_Extreme4.html

there is whole series of upgrades you could do, best I saw was, is listed below, mind you you will have to upgrade the bios first to P2.60 for it
FX-8370 - FD8370FRW8KHK / FD8370FRHKBOX / FD8370FRHKHBX
Newegg got one new for 184$ https://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=FX-8370&N=-1&isNodeId=1

I would push ram to 16gb, and if you want you can get a new video card but the 470 is a pretty good card

Thank you so much for your answer. That FX-8370 looks nice, is there a lot of difference with the FX-8350?
