My gf and i wanted a small console-like gaming pc for the living room but within a budget ( around $800 - $900). So, after some research this is what i came up with.

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($188.89 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: CRYORIG C7 40.5 CFM CPU Cooler ($29.99 @ Newegg Marketplace)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H170N-WIFI Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard ($112.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: GeIL EVO POTENZA 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($88.89 @ OutletPC)
Storage: Corsair Force LE 480GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($149.99 @ Corsair)
Video Card: MSI Radeon RX 480 4GB Video Card ($189.98 @ Newegg)
Case: Silverstone RVZ02B HTPC Case ($72.99 @ SuperBiiz) <--- this stays no matter what
Power Supply: Corsair SF 450W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular SFX Power Supply ($89.90 @ Jet)
Total: $923.62
PCPartPicker part list

Things i need help with:

1. It seems went a bit over-budget :D... any chance you guys can help me with that? without sacrificing too much performance of course. (check number 3 for more details on this)

2. will i get enough room to fit everything i want in this case?

3. It's getting hot!: i've read that high temps could be an issue with this case since it's passively cooled. i'm not saying this for the i5 6500 'cause as you can see overclocking it's out of the question here but rather the Rx 480 which, from what i've seen, tends to get hot...
i went with the 480 cause i know it can handle most games @1080p 60fps like a breeze

So bottom line is: i need something that can destroy any game @1080p 60fps (hence why i chose the aforementioned 480) but that doesn't run too hot while still remain in budget. preferably cooling amd's chip is ideal but i'm willing to use another card if it means that i won't have a "hell's box" under my TV.

PS: i'm no veteran builder so any advice on how to build this is MUCH appreciated. :)

Kinda overspending a bit on the SSD, mobo and RAM, not much elsewhere to save money though, the Case and PSU are both a little overpriced, but that's what you get for going SFF: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Should be okay. Got you back in budget and added 8gb ,480 can drop back down to a 4gb if you want and save a few more bucks
