I recently upgraded my PC. Got a new motherboard (Asus Maximus VIII Ranger) and CPU. (i7-6700k). After installing the new components my GPU (Evga 970 ftw) shuts off about 30 seconds after booting. Also I'm not getting any signal on my monitor, even right after booting when the GPU seems to be running. Any help would be greatly apricisted.

Be sure you have all necessary power connectors plugged in. I know it sounds stupid, but so many people forget to plug in the power for the GPU.
Another possibility is that the BIOS is outdated. Manually resetting the BIOS could be a fix.

If all fails, test the graphics card in another computer to see if it's just the card. If it is the card, buy another.
If it is not the card, keep testing parts in another PC to find out the problem. If do are not comfortable doing this, Google is always an option.

Sorry I wasn't much help. Good luck!

Ok so I tried with another graphics card. My broter's Zotac 770 to be precise. The GPU does not turn off at all but I still can't get a signal to any monitor (tried multiple).
