I just purchased a $15 subwoofer off of Craigslist with no speakers or control pod. I bought this to increase the bass of my water speakers. Little did I know, I needed the control pod to make it function. I want to know if this setup will work with my water speakers before I purchase a separate control pod. I have two AUX cords on me, as well as a single male AUX to dual female AUX on hand that I didn't include in the build, as I don't think it's necessary.

Any feedback is appreciated.

IT depends, if the sub also powers the speakers and provides their amplification, than no, it could blow the water speakers. They already have their own amp in them, and a lot of times the "all in one" 2.1 computer speakers, the amp and all the controls, etc, happen through the sub. Hard to say.

Awe, that sucks. I don't want to break my water speakers, as they were a Christmas gift from my dad. I only really spent $5 on it, as the woman who sold it to me didn't realize it was defective without a control pod, and refunded me $10.
