Currently in the process of building my 2nd rig, and didnt run into this problem on my first. So i hope i get a quick response, im gonna just keep refreshing this page lol.
All of my internal case fans need a 3-pin on the MB, this ASUS MB i have only has 4 pin ones, the wire fits fine, just making sure this is okay.
In the manual it says "ensuring the black wire of each cable matches the ground pin on the connector, but the pins are silver. I'm such a noob, lol...
I also have a 3-pin LED Connector, but im unsure why. My power LED and HDD LED both are wired in a different place, could this be LEDs on the MB? Or maybe a connector for LED strips if i wanted to do that?
