I have just installed a new i7 in my PC and I got it to turn on for about a minute but then it restarts

I just installed a new i7 in my Pc, earlier I got the i7 to work but it showed that the temp was always around 90-100c so I uninstalled and reinstalled the cpu. Now when I turn on the PC it turns on, without showing anything on the screen, and in about a minute later it restarts again. This repeats over and over. If someone could help me that would be great. Also if you need pictures I can post some.

What exact motherboard and i7 are you using?

Did you remove the plastic film from the bottom of the heatsink? If you replacing the CPU using a used heatsink did you clean it and reapply thermal paste?

I removed the old thermal paste and put on new paste

Maybe you damaged some of the pins on motherboard during 2nd installation.
Take CPU out and take a good look at CPU socket.

Yeah I took a good look at it and didn't see anything wrong, I think my Mobo maybe broken. Recommend any itx size motherboards that aren't too expensive?
