I just upgraded my mobo, gpu, cpu, AIO liquid cooler, and ram. I basically just kept the case, drives and PSU (800W).

Got everything hooked up, but when i boot up the PC something strange happens.

-Firstly, no video
-Secondly, fhe fans seem really quiet for about 30 secs then they speed up really fast.

Lights on the mobo light up, new aio seems to be working fine. still no signal, no beeps. any ideas?

Id rather not send it in to have someone fix it

Have:
-i5 6600k
-EVGA 1050Ti ssc
-asus prime z270-p
-8 gb ddr4 @ 3000
-800W PSU

Had:
-i5 2500k
-gigabyte z68a-d3h mobo
-Radeon HD 6880 gpu
same 800w PSU

So i reseated everything, checked pins on cpu socket, unplugged peripherals, changed DIMMs and swapped ram out (only have 2 sticks of ddr4 so... ya, do the math) tried w/ and w/o gpu, tried pulling the battery on the board, tried redirecting my fans and unplugging any excess case fans. Checked all power ports from the PSU to mobo.... basically did all in the list i was capable of doing.

I ended up going to geek squad. They dont work on customs, but the guy suggested my northbridge chipset was out. Gonna get a mobo replacement and see if that fixes the problem. Any suggestions or thoughts? Appreciate the feedback. Cheers!

got the new mobo, still not working, same deal. power to fans and leds on mobo but no POST or video signal.

Called asus, and they suggested i test cables and my DVI-D adaptor (which was brand new). so tomorrow i shall do that at work.... and reformat my harddrive just cause.
