Hi,

I've recently changed nothing about my computer, and my download speeds have gone from 45-55Mbps to 0.5-45Mbps. Right now I'm at 26.8.

My computer is an i7-3770K, GTX 980 Kingpin, 800w Corsair, 32gb DDR3, ASrock Z77 Extreme4 board. I've had this setup for at least a year or two. My connection is wired. I pay for 50/25 download/upload Mbps and I typically get 45-55Mbps down and 24 upload.

I have an Arris modem, and a Buffalo Airstation router.

This has been occuring for about 2 weeks now and I am consistently seeing below 1 or 2 Mbps. My streams are lagging, and I can't play many games.

When I go to http://192.168.100.1/ I have the following results. I do not know how to read them. I have not yet called my ISP.

If your ISP says everything is good on there end, I would recommend purchasing a different modem. I've had the same ARRIS modem which are a pain in the ass. I've had it go up and down on the download speeds, after switching the modem that had more up to date functions unlike the modem I had before I've never had a dip in the download speeds, the only time it restarts is when the ISP changes renew's the addresses.

I have to ask these basic questions all the time because I can't assume...

What about your WIFI devices? only 1 box hooked up through ethernet?

To discount whether you got a LAN problem, always good to temporarily hook up directly behind the ISP Gateway then u will know whether LAN problem or ISP.

If W10, I'd make sure the LAN driver came from the Mobo vendor, I wouldn't trust if it came from MS.

I have W10 and have been using W10 prior to this occurring. I don't recall ever DL'ing/installing a driver.
