Hey guys, its my first post here, so I'm sorry if i'm doing something wrong!

I expect you guys can help with my problem, it's very annoying and I can't figure out what is happening. My FPS drops frequently while gaming, in CSGO for exemple, it reaches 300 FPS, but suddenly drops to something like 30, sometimes keeps unstable between this. The sound freezes and loops constantly when the drop occurs and the screen goes black and I can hear something doing a "click noise" on my CPU.

I do not know so much about hardwares, but I believe that I have a fine PC and I should be able to play without any problems, my specs are:
GeForce GTX 760
I7-4790 @ 3.60 Ghz
RAM 16 GB
Motherboard ASUS Z87M-PLUS (Haswell)
Windows 7 64x
Monitor LG 22EA53
EVGA NEX 750B

Games with FPS drops:
CSGO
h1z1
Battlefield 1

I've already check a few things using Afterburner. My GPU temperature goes around 70º--80º while gaming. Ram usage is around 8GB. CPU usage stays around 60%.
The GPU usage is the only thing that seems to change when it happens, it goes from 99% to 70%-60% or less.

One thing seems to be a fact: When I minimize and get back to the game, the fps looks like will get better, but in most cases don't last much.
I've already tried updating and downgrading my drivers, updated the BIOS, got my PC clean, and turned GPU power usage to max. Turned Vsync off. Even formating my PC! Nothing has changed.

Anyone, please? :??:

Then as you mentioned originally the temperatures seem to be fine.

Does the game go to that black screen with sound loops and then crash to desktop, or do you have to reboot PC?

The only thing I can think of is perhaps checking the RAM to see if they're fine. Download Memtest+ and let it run overnight to check for errors. It's suggested to make 8 passes to be close to certain.

Most of the time the screen recovieres itself after 5-10 sec. But when it crashes hard I have to do a manual reboot! I don't think its RAM because I have 16 GB, and while I gaming and get the bug it only reaches 8GB usage. But I'll try this test, thanks!
