Hello tomshardware forum, yesterday a weird thing happened in my system.
Recently I upgraded my system's ram memory by 2gb ddr3 ram. Now it has total 4gb ram. Everything is working fine but yesterday suddenly system hangs and display screen puzzled, lines appears and were dancing. I didnt have any way except pressing the reboot button. Thought the problem is due to new ram, thus after reboot did memory test with memtest tool, the test completed successfully no lines occured, no errors. Then removed old ram and did boot the system nothing happened. Does it mean the problem is hidden somewhere?
I post a video here for your concern. Hope you can help me, thank you.
My system: Asus g41cm lx, core 2duo e7750, 500 gb hdd, 4gb ddr3.

Hello forum members, After couple days of trying to solve this problem, lastly I found that my motherboard was not supporting the new ram, though it was a ddr3 ram(ran at 1066MHz). So I swapped it with a new one and the problem solved. :)

No more system crashing occured. No more jumping lines on the screen. Thank you.
