2 weeks ago my mobo stop working for no apparent reason,it just wont turn on ,everything else works on another system, just mobo not working. no burn mark or smell

so i went to buy a new one (asus z97-k).works for a few days then same thing happen,it suddenly stops working, went to the shop - they tested it and said its broken ,they gave me a new one,and guess wat happen last night,it broke down again.3rd mobo in 2 weeks

well now am thinking that something in system(psu/cpu/ram) is causing my motherboard to break down...

i kind of agree with u all and thinks its the psu,but its a very good brand/model psu and seems weird it fails only after 2 years.i guess am unlucky and got a badly made one...oh well ,time to buy a new one

wait, PSu have warranties... if still under it, you can get a new one for free by manufacturer (don't prevent you from buying another one then you would have a spare :p

updates:
i bought a new psu silverstone strider gold 750W ,my 4th mobo broke yesterday night...

srsly pulling my hair out right now,the store wont RMA the mobo anymore and still have no idea wats causing my mobo to short circuit.

The techguy told me that its possible that my casing is the issue(miss contact or something) OR its my CPU causing it. i have check everything in my case and CAREFULLY installed my cabling inside so i doubt it.i check all standoff 1 by 1,found nothing...

Now am leaning toward my CPU which is causing the problem but can a faulty CPU do that ? and why now ? coz i have been using that cpu for 2 years now
