I don't want to overclock my CPU as long as I'm only gaming at 1080p 144Hz. But I also want to upgrade my GPU in future (2-3 years) with something like rx 480, I mean it will be still mainstream but great for 1080p. So I want my CPU to stand long.

1- Is i7 6700k a waste in these terms ?
2- Is this Motherboard good enough to carry these components through next 4-5 years ?
3- Does this PSU have enough quality to stand me for at least 4-5 years ?
4- Is CM 212X good enough to cool i7 6700K without overclocking ?

CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K 4.00 GHz Skylake
MB: Gigabyte GA-Z170-GAMING K3
RAM: GSkill Ripjaws V (2x8GB) DDR4 3000Mhz
GPU: XFX RX 480 GTR Triple X Edition 8GB
PSU: Seasonic S12II-620 80+ Bronze 620W
HDD: WD Caviar Blue 1TB 7200Rpm
SSD: Crucial MX300 275GB
CPU COOLER: Cooler Master Hyper 212X

Thanks for all of your answers and suggestions from now on.

"(My budget is $1200)"

Yes, of course I know that and I don't have any intention on playing at ultra. Plus I generally play FPS games and I do some studio stuff like music production. RX 480 is plenty for me. My questions are different.
