So the Cryorig H7 is literally out of stock everywhere except for Alternative, which has hiked price up an extra £10, now £40.

Is it actually worth £13 more than the 212evo? I know the H7 is better, but worth £40?

H7 for £40 or 212 Evo for £26.99

On an i7 7700k, asus prime z270-A.

Thanks

Since you mentioned gbp, is amazon.uk an option for you? If so I'd split the difference and go with the ereboss for 33 pounds.

The h7 is a solid cooler, a bit better for a variety of reasons than the 212 evo but that's a hefty premium. Usually when suggesting it the price is much closer to the 212 evo. With that much price difference price becomes a bit of a factor there.

There's a slight ram conflict with the first slot it seems, a potential problem if you're using all 4 ram slots or have taller ram. If using the 2nd and 4th slots or low profile ram it should be fine. Similar to the 212 evo fan interference but it's a 6 heatpipe cooler vs a 4 pipe cooler.

Thanks for the replies guys. my friend had a raj-ereboss and he said he had problems with it. probably just with his, but would rather stick with very highly rated units. Don't mind spending £40 (yes gbp and amazon is good for me), if it was worth that, everyone is raving about the h7 and h5, but don't want to be spending more than necessary on anything, and the h5 is a bit too expensive. cheers guys
