compatibility between two different brand

Hi,

I want to extend my ram to 8GB By adding an additional 4GB, i ' m wondering if these two RAMs are compatible and will work together without problems. (the second is DDR3L)

my existing RAM :

Mixing ram is hit and miss , you won't know till you try it. Even if identical could be incompatible

You don't know till you try is what it boils down to. Enter the BIOS before adding the second ram stick. Set all ram settings to Auto to try and minimize any conflict and save. Shut down PC. Install second stick and see what happens. If you get lucky you can then set the desired speed to 1600 (default will likely set to 1333 for ddr3) and be stable.

Best purchased in a matching set , the mixture of modules may or may not work. No one can say for sure.
