Hi , for a few years now I have a GTX 750 TI and for that time I was happy with its performance. However recently I switched to a new monitor with 2,560 x 1,440 resolution, and now I do notice frame drops in games.

So I checked out for a new GPU like the 1050 TI, but on this site:
http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-750-Ti-vs-GeForce-GTX-1050-Ti

it looks like the performance is pretty much the same? So that really confuses me.

So my questions are:

1. Will I see a big difference when upgrading to the 1050 TI ? Or should I go for the 1060 at least?

2. Will games like ARMA 3 have improved FPS in multiplayer on decent settings? And what about MMO games like Black Desert ?

My full specs are:

i5 4690k 3.5 ghz
GTX 750 ti
MSI z97 gaming 5 mobo
16gb ram
Corsair H80I watercooling

Well iam not playing super demanding games, mostly MMO and some ARMA, which I already can play at pretty high settings with my 750 TI, but in some games I get like 25 fps on 1440p compared to 60 fps on 1080p. So I think for what I want to do the 1060 6gb is bit overkill. I could be wrong tho.

But my main question remains, how much difference in speed will the 1050ti give my on my rig compared to what the 750ti does now.

don't Trust GPU Boss. 1050ti is far superior to the 750ti Near double the performance. That said if 1060 is in the budget, you will want it for 1440 gaming.

It really depends on what you consider acceptable fps for 1440p, the 1050ti is a nice upgrade from the 750ti in my opinion, I have not played either game but I can say in WoW at 1440p on my i5 4590 and r9 280 Oc I get around 60 fps with some dips depending on the situation with quality settings set at 7. But I would always strive for 60fps regardless of resolution

yes these benchmarks show a whole different story indeed. I am pretty much on a budget so in my country the 1060 will cost like 230 euro or more for the 3GB version. and about 170 for the gtx 1050 ti. I think i will just go for the 1050 ti since I usually stick with older games like CS GO and some MMO games. I am not planning on getting games like mafia 3 or something else demanding.

Everyone thank you so much for your info.
