Mother Board / Wifi Adapter?

Hello folks!
I've recently purchased STRIX X99 https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-X99-GAMING/

I'm not exactly sure if it comes with a wifi-adapter or if I have to buy one.
Never the less if I have to purchase one, which wifi-adapter would you folks recommend (that's compatible with this of course) for video games, streaming, and downloading massive files (ei: 80GB game download).

p.s i'm all ears for any other option too if there's a better alternative for better internet speed (example I have a cat 7 Ethernet, not sure if that's gonna suffice)

Yes, this board has onboard wifi

I personally use this and it works pretty well. Dont have any issues or complaints with it.

As a rule of thumb, being hardwired in will always be faster than wifi. So if you are really concerned about latency, then you should be hooked up via ethernet.

For online gaming, latency and packet loss are always a potential issue with wifi due to it being more prone to outside interference. If possible, hardwired (cat5) is always the preferred choice. For wireless choices between your motherboard and a 3rd party device, the one on your motherboard should run near identical; assuming they're both running the same rating (A/B/N/etc).

As an example with wifi interference, I remember at one point years ago the router I had in my house would lose its wifi signal every time the phone rang because my parent's cordless phones ran on the same frequency. Issues like these can still be problem; especially if you have close neighbors and their wireless router runs on the same frequency/channel as yours.

Just being "WiFi" is far more an issue than which WiFi device. Motherboard, USB, PCI-e.
The WiFi itself is the problem.
