I have a asus b250-m motherboard a corsair spec-01 case and a rx 480 gpu. This is my first build and everything works execpt the gpu. pretty much the back of it clicks in and the front/middle of it is impossible to push in any further due to the metal on the io shield https://imgur.com/a/Dewjm. no matter what configuration i put it in it does this, even if i put pressure on the middle of it. is there any way to move the metal thing up so i can push the middle of it down? not sure why this is happening when i made sure everything was compatible before it bought the pieces. anyone got any ideas? Please re-upload the first image. It says "page not found".
Edit: looking at your second picture, it looks 99% fitting: there are no card pins coming out of the slot.
Also, could you post your exact 480 model? (which manufacturer, which model from that manufacturer) A link to the product and all of its specifications would be good.
