i know there are pretty similar threads like mine, but most of them are before the release of GTX 1050Ti so i would to re-ask the topic. the Sapphire RX 460 Nitro OC costs about $127 and the Galax GTX 1050Ti 4GB EXOC costs about $168 in my country. which should i buy?

Solution
The 1050ti will give better performance. but it's quite a difference in price and I know sometimes the prices of the 1050ti can near an RX470 at which I would grab the rx470 if it's just a few more bucks.

in the end, your call really

this depends on the games you play really. Rendering videos is CPU intensive, it will not be effected by the GPU. Maybe, could you tell me which CPU you got? and the rest of your system build, as well as a short list of games you like to play.

But, in the end, if you don't mind spending a little bit more money for better performance, then do it.

Even if you're a casual gamer, having better performance will only increase your enjoyment of the games, that has nothing to do with Casual or Extreme. I have friends who game on a RX460/similar just cuz they cant spend the extra buck on something better, but every one of them would spend if they had.

i wanted to play games like COD: IW, Battlefied 1, The Witcher 3 and Resident evil really, but my current specs are not that good so i decided to upgrade my GPU seeing my other specs are rather decent enough.

my current specs are:
- AMD A10-5800K 3.6GHz Black Edition
- Radeon HD 6670 2GB
- 2x4GB 1600Mhz DDR3 RAM
- GIGABYTE GA-F2A85X-UP4 Motherboard
- GIGABYTE 570W Power supply

Thank you very much for your answers and guidance.

my AMD A10-5800K is said to be up to 4.2 GHz on turbo but i dont know what that means and no, i have not overclocked the CPU considering this is a family PC and i dont wanna take the risk of overclocking the CPU manually. BUT if there is a factory application from AMD that enables me to overclock my CPU safely, i would.
