so i just need the right connector , plug and play? there's no need to adjust bios settings? no disc management wizards to tinker?

sadly it didnt worked on the 20gb hitatchi deskstar (probably broken) but it worked on my other wd blue sata 500gb from my parents' pc. now i dont know how to fix this unallocated space: (there is 2 pcs of 1mb sliver of unalocated space, which i cannot do a new simple volume, format or remove drive letter.)

edit: i have tried deleting the volume, then new simple volume. it seems that the 1mp merges with the unallocated space when the volume is deleted then separates when you initialize the new simple volume wizard.

as of now, both volumes have no data on it. because i sucessfully retrieved the files that i wanted.

welp, nevermind. I fixed it when i downloaded the mini tool partition wizard-free and deleted all the partitions ( new volumes E, F, the 2 separate 1mb unallocated spaces and the 450mb recovery partition.
