So I installed a new gtx 1050 to windforce (note, this is my first time upgrading my PC) and I put it in the pcie slot and plugged in the 6pin power. I plugged my computer back in and the LEDs would begin to "breathe" but then turn off abruptly, then begin breathing again. It would breathe for about one second, then shut off for a second, and repeat that, and the fans would not spin at all. I then tried to put my old card back in, a gtx 740 and it did not work. I did not look into what could have been the source for the problem with the 740, I was much too frustrated. I have a 850 w PSU so I don't think power is the issue, but I could easily be wrong. I am pretty new to computer stuff. Any help is very appreciated!
