PSU cable help

Hello there! I am currently working on my first pc build and ive ran into a question that has been bugging me. I am using an evga 500bq psu found HERE . Put simply, can i use the perif cable (using the vga1 cable for my gpu, so this guy is left out) for extra hard drives? I am considering putting a hot swap bay into my case and using some power from there. any help is greatly appreciated!

perif is for cpu (top of the motherb) and vga is for your graphic card. SATA u can turn it into molex or sata power connection.
for 6 pin to sata:

for 6 pin to molex:

and then you can buy extension for sata power or molex. just search molex extension or sata power extension

The perif socket is exactly the same as the sata sockets , its generally used for the cable with 3 x molex & floppy connector on that & the sata cables are interchangeable.
