I have G31M-GS R2.0 motherboard with P1.80 BIOS and sometimes there is no beep after POST (the system still works OK). The problem lies with the ODD (Optiarc DVD RW AD-7240S). If I disconnect/reconnect it, it works fine (for a while). Does the problem lay in the drive itself or is it something else (maybe cables or the board)?
